My Story
I know a bit about losing yourself. I’ve had cancer, a baby, five major surgeries and treatment-induced menopause in the last eight years alone. All while holding down a high-pressured senior role in one of London’s top advertising agencies.
After years of ‘coping’, I was burnout and unsure of myself. Yes, I knew I was a mother, a wife, a cancer survivor. I knew I could operate under immense pressure and still be the life and soul of the party. But all of this came at a major cost; I was stressed and exhausted all the time.
After trying everything from yoga to wine, I started to go to sound baths and I found that using them I could access an energetic state where I could process all I was going through and cope better.
I didn’t know it at the time but sound baths were my first step to rewilding myself; and they were to become transformative.
As I became more passionate about sound healing and rewilding myself, I realised that I wanted to help others who were struggling to cope with the pressures of life or who are going through life-changing moments like menopause, burnout or returning to work after motherhood or loss. So I completed my sound healing training and founded House of Butterfly; a safe place where you can rewild yourself.
